THERAPY, CONSULTING

Ann Kent, MA, LMFT

I’m often told that I’m easy to connect with, and I strive to bring that openness and warmth into every session. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and board-approved supervisor, working primarily with adults 18 and older, with occasional exceptions. I approach therapy with the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal and grow. My goal is to help you feel empowered and supported as we navigate the challenges you’re facing. Whether you’re new to therapy or just looking for the right fit, I’m here to help you explore the path that works best for you, even if it feels unclear right now.

My specialties are suicidality, complex trauma, PTSD, insomnia, and Bipolar Disorder. I also work with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and individuals seeking growth in relationships and wellness. If you’re feeling stuck in any of these areas, know that you’re not alone, and that we can take the time to find strategies and tools that resonate with you. I’m trained in several evidence-based approaches like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), including the pre-verbal protocol, and Interpersonal Social Rhythm Therapy (ISRT) for Bipolar Disorder. I also use Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), all of which are designed to help you regain control, heal, and feel more grounded in your day-to-day life.

I also have a personal connection to the foster care and adoption worlds, which shapes the work I do with adoptive parents and adult adoptees. If you’ve experienced the challenges and complexities of adoption, I bring both professional training and lived experience to support you in navigating your unique journey.

And just so you know, swearing and humor are welcome in our sessions! It’s part of creating a space where you can truly be yourself.

Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my husband and kids on the lake, exploring new places, or enjoying music by playing guitar or piano.

If you’re ready to start feeling more like yourself again—or just curious about what healing might look like for you—I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

Steve Lochen, MA, LMFT

Do you ever feel heavy and weighed down? Ready for a change? I’d like to help to get you back to yourself again or maybe find yourself for the first time. In my work I use mindfulness strategies and other evidence based practices (fancy language for therapies backed by research) to remove the barriers that might be holding you back from living out the life you want.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (and board-approved supervisor) I am trained and experienced in using these evidence based practices: certified in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP); trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), with additional training in treating pre-verbal trauma, and first responder stressors.

My clinical interests include chronic/terminal medical conditions, trauma, anxiety, secondary/vicarious trauma in first responders, ADHD, and depression. When I’m not doing clinical work, farming or walking with Teddy, I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids or adventuring in the outdoors!
